Another step closer to accepting users
As you might have noticed I reached a very minor milestone in releasing a new version of the host side software today. A few minor problems patched and I now have a better understanding of how everything fits together including the sound end of things.I still have some issues with my own remote though. The main one is setting the audio levels properly. Now that I have things evened out with the software on the host server and on a couple of client side systems here setting up the final levels might be a bit easier that is was before.
I also have to set up the various user levels and license classes. That might take a couple of days to accomplish since the changes to the site's configuration files are a bit tricky to get right. I do need to better set up the antenna switching too. I'll have a 43 foot ZeroFive-Antennas vertical available and there will be a dummy load on the second antenna port for those users thatwant to do a bit of safe learning without radiating RF.
I'm going to put together a users guide for my own remote over the next few days and when you see that available as a PDF file I'll start taking user applications. Thanks to everyone that has asked about accounts so far. If you've already asked for an account you'll have to re-apply when the rules and regs for using my remote become available.
