UNZIP-ERROR

Hi All

Nice to see that there is a new release of irb-host, congrats and thanks, Bob, for your effort. Unfortunately there is a message that the zip-file is damaged or corrupted when trying to unzip the file for the 6.003.2-release. Using a quite recent unzipper, no problem unzipping other files.

I just posted a copy of the unzipped update file in the downloads area. Please let me know if it works for you.

Thank you for offering the unzipped file. Unfortunately, the file does not work. You can click on the icon, but no reaction and no error message - very strange!

I did a test download

I've just downloaded a copy of the 6.003.002 exe file and it loaded and ran perfectly on the test system.  I wish I could be of more help but I am unable to duplicate the problems you say you are having with either the zip file or the exe file itself.

Did you stop the old version of the host program BEFORE starting this new version? Two copies can not be run at the same time even if they are different versions.

This an exact copy of the file I'm using on my own remote system so I'm not certain exactly what the problem is. I'll see if I can download the file anfd check it out here.

Hello Bob

Found the problem, the file is not an installer, it's the .exe-file. I copied it into the programm directory and it worked:-)HB9Z is now running with version 6.003.002!
